Rachel Weeks, owner of Inner Harmony Counseling, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, teens and young adults. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Aurora University with a specialization in Forensic Social Work and Child Welfare. While obtaining her undergraduate degree at Aurora University, she also earned a minor in Business Administration and Psychology with high honors.
Rachel has worked in a variety of settings, many of which involved child welfare, including a local homeless shelter, Children’s Advocacy Center, county health department and private practice. She has experience in crisis settings and working with those that struggle with ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, self-esteem and perfectionism, life transitions, and peer and family conflict. She is accepting of all individuals and is a strong ally for the LGBQ+ populations. Due to her age (28), Rachel tends to click well with children and teens.
Rachel works with clients of all ages and provides individual psychotherapy and family therapy. She utilizes a variety of modalities and techniques when working with clients. Rachel’s greatest asset is her ability to empathize and connect with others. She provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all clients and people around her.
